I've found that plates usually break within 3-6 months usually from loss of attraction, mystery or wanting more commitment.

Then there are plates that I might have growing oneitis for in comparison to others and I hard next for fear of oneitis getting out of control or getting too attached by falsly correlating their longevity with value.

Is there a better way to deal with this? Is it usual to set time limits on plates?
