If you’re getting resistance or ready to move on, give her your number and tell her to text you - then move on. Chances are if she isn’t a pain in the ass she will make the effort and it’s a good sign of continued interest.

Keep it simple, when in doubt, make a statement based off their pic or bio that isn’t cluttered with too many words or unnecessary vocabulary. Caveman talk. Nerdy chick? “Talk Nerdy to me” Goth chick? “You look like you want to eat my soul” Emo chick? “Nothing hotter than skinny emo dancers” Old chick “I wish you were my mom so I could eat your pussy before breakfast” etc.

Text at your leisure but don’t play games. Waiting to reply and other horseshit is no longer good etiquette and is quite played out. Message her when you’re comfortable, cool and collected and never before. Rushing to meet up and being generic are two big turn offs this early in the game. Letting her wait too long may lose her interest or make her think you’re rude (don’t let a conversation hang for more than 24, it will usually die without resuscitation by 48).I usually jump on at 8 or 9pm or before bed and shoot a message out, off the top of my head - people who are interested will reply back quickly within the hour if not immediately.

Steer the conversation. Think about what you’re saying and what sort of reply you’ll get and what you’d reply with. For instance if you intention is drinks, start talking about drinking/your favorite dive bar/what you did last weekend/what you like to drink and then it will seamlessly transition into a meetup over drinks.

Avoid shock and awe - “wanna fuck?”. Going for sexual innuendos and blatant hook up terminology will come off as sophomoric and amature. While it can be successful, most of the time you will just get ignored - so save it for the meet and keep it light and fun in the beginning. I would argue that most people on tinder have zero sense of humor or are generally standoffishness with the opposite gender. Give it your best shot but fuck her if she takes it the wrong way, never apologize and know when to pack it up - she probably sucks and not in the good way. Use statements to meet up. “I’m free after 7pm Friday” or “8pm Pirate Brew Bar Tuesday” or “I’m thinking Wine Bar at 7pm” are great go to’s. More finesse requires crafting a message around your topic, if she’s an actor on your casting couch you might message her “auditions are tomorrow 7pm Soda Cafe” but will guarantee a meetup.

Don’t double message and allow 24 hours for a response. Anything more and you’re plan B and it’s a waste unless she gives you a significant response, simply ‘lol’ after 3 days is a kick in the dick. Sending another message rarely converts to any real success and you look like a fool. I’ve had such a low success ratio on this that I don’t bother. At this point you’re invisible. Best to pack it up,

Never ever follow their social media accounts, it’s a dead zone. If she is serious she will give you her number and meet up, otherwise move on. Snapchat is the biggest waste of time, I’d love to see how much people actually get laid from that pansy ass app. I’ve had matches find me on Instagram and we’ve met up but not the other way around, probably for good reason. Don’t fall for the trap of following for a follow back or getting a snapchat in place of a number.
