Hey everyone, recently joined Tinder and got a few likes/matches who live within a 20mi radius of me.

Obviously they can see what I look like, or my Bio and yet I notice a pattern.. They don't reply back or when they do it's short and dead.

Are they just liking randomly and matching for validation or is my sidebar/tinder knowledge subpar?
