Tips for rushing a frat

Stay away from cliche answers like you just want great friends and party. It’s vanilla and you won’t stand out. Be indifferent but engaged in the conversation. Confidence and humor are key if you ain’t got it than fake it on a reasonable level.

Tell em your professional goals of what you’re doing to better yourself in college and what you want to do when you graduate. Relate to others and talk with about the same hobbies, fitness for example.

Last but not least make sure it’s dudes you genuinely see yourself being friends with and that will push you to become the greatest version of yourself. Instead of having the attitude of having to impress them which will come off as try-hard, have the attitude that they gotta impress you and whether they are WORTH your time but don’t be stuck up. Just be relaxed, chill, and funny. Also, don’t just stick your mind on one frat cause they have a rep for having the biggest parties or hottest girls. Rush them all with an open mind cause these are friends you could end up having post college as well

Tip one, don’t call it a “frat.” You don’t call your country a “cunt”. (Joking). Tip two, make sure you socialize and really get to know the head council and guys you are rushing with. If you like them, it will make the process 10x “easier”. Tip three, attend ALL there events and socialize, have fun , and DO NOT GET BLACK OUT DRUNK, the brothers are ALWAYS watching you...Good luck! -Former “frat” bro.
