Focus on your grades while the pandemic is going on. (Party if you can, but I doubt there is any, lol)

I started in august and I met my 'class' for a week and a half, then school shut down and everything has been online since. So if I was you I'd take every opportunity given to socialize with new people. You shouldnt rely on it long term, but seeing people, or just not being isolated by yourself all day, is good.

Once things turn back to normal, my recommandation is to have a schedule. Do school from X to X, and stay busy. Go out on the weekends, if ur not comfortable with that yet, get friends in uni who do that, and join them

Do your work multiple days before it’s due. That helped me the most academically when I was in college.

Use a planner, plan out exactly what you need to do each week so you don’t forget any assignments.

Idk where your from but consider rushing a fraternity if they have them at the college your going to. I was in one in college and it helps so much with girls status and having good friends

first year is usually "survey" courses, meaning pretty general, and possibly not so interesting. second year is often "weeder" courses, where they weed out the dummies. third and fourth year is when it gets more interesting, academically
intramural (non-varsity) sports are a great way to socialize, and meet chicks too. same with clubs (the Ski Club at my school was a major party)
be careful of the "Frosh 15" - where first years tend to put on 15 lb of weight, especially if living in residence. watch your diet and booze consumption
enjoy alcohol and drugs, but not so much you get kicked out
only two grades matter. Pass (usually 50%) and Dean's List (usually 80%). A 79% is a waste of time

If you want enjoyment then you'll seek enjoyment and you'll find it.

You should probably work hard too.
