I've always been the class clown, the funny guy, all over the place excited when I talk. When I stay alone for too long, I lose my socializing abilities, I mumble, I can't get my sentences concise and straight. My definition of regaining confidence is that excited personality. Now that I've got that down, I'm socializing more than ever, everyone likes me but it's not sexual. Lately I've noticed much more results with girls when I'm calm and less funny, less excited about everything, or how TRP calls it, stoic. It's very hard to get into that mood though, I need to be tired or genuinely don't care, neither of which is available when cold approaching.

Has anyone gone through the funny to stoic transformation? Any tips to instill, any general mistakes I should avoid?
