My advice would be to follow everyone that you know, people you went to school with, colleagues etc, like their posts and they will like yours, build it organically rather than using loads of hashtags and trying to get followers from around the world.

Make sure the photos are actually good aesthetic photos and try have captions that are either to the point or witty. I would never pay for the promoted posts on Instagram as that can come across as try hard, especially if you aren’t actually advertising a business

I don't have Instagram but I have this friend who's good at it. He likes EVERY picture from guys/girls so they like his pictures back I guess. He follows everyone he knows so they follow him back and he gets more followers. Then he unfollows the people he doesn't care about, just basic attention whore shit.

He will post stories all the time when we're out and it's honestly fucking annoying but I guess it looks good on his Instagram. He has good pictures, a good Insta story everyday about his gym, food, hobbies, fun stuff he's doing, etc...

He always comments on girls their stories and they end up following him even though the conversations seem autistic. They're just sending smiley faces to each other.

I guess Instagram is all about being FAKE. You have to be on it a LOT, make people believe you have a cool life, talk to everyone, tell them their picture/story is so cool while in reality nobody gives a fuck about the others' person picture/story.

Everyone on Instagram claims to have a cool life but in real life they're the boring persons at a bar/restaurant who's glued to their phones, not interacting with each other, just zombies, staring at their screen.

Women get 80+ likes on a selfie because men want to fuck them. You can't compare apples to oranges. The guys who get followers are guys women want to fuck (ain't you apparently) and guys who other men want to be (Dan Brazillionare). Either make content that will attract women or men to your page or get lost in the sea of average dick. You can also buy followers, so if you really think it's worth it - it's an option. There was some guy here claiming he bought followers and got professional photos done and eventually nailed some instagram hotties so whatever floats your boat. To me it sounds pretty fucking lame, but I'm also not 19.

thats a male-simp behaviour, follow a bunch o girls only because they post their asses there. U wont get any.

As a man u'll get followers if u post something that ppl want from a man: Tips in how to make money and proof that u made it. Tips on how to grow muscle/career and proof that u made it. Tips on how to play in Barcelona/Won at UFC/Ran 50 marathones/Has social value/Is a promoter/Know how to do badass shit in Photoshop/Win in life.... And proof that u made it.

In other words. As a man, u grow showing achievements and offering how ppl can do it too, give them a reason why it's helpful to follow you.If u want to grow showing your face and tits only and using iPhone filters, die and born again as hot girl
