Did some reading on "How to Win Friends", blogs, YT, etc. What are some tips that have worked personally for you?

I understand that if I want to make friends with really valuable people, I'll need to bring value myself.

Are there other values aside from money, status, looks, that can help make friends with valuable people?

Have you observed or experienced a difference in making friends with said valuable person vs. your average Sally or Joe?

For more clarification, I'm saying valuable as in someone who you'd think could drastically improve your life for the better, ie.
