22 Y/O here. I have been in a LTR with a girl. 2 years +. She's great in the way that I could trust her pretty blindly. I've been in a lot of relationships before, and a lot of hook ups, but this girl is amazing in a lot of ways.
Sex is 10/10, and I'd say she's a 9.5 too.
Here's the dilemma. She's 26, turning 27 this year. Her parents are nagging her to get married soon (yeah, that type of culture). She told me not to worry about it, and that she doesn't expect anything from me in that regard.
I'm in a state of mind where I cannot decide what is most important. I honestly don't want to get married right now. I don't want kids till I'm 30 at least. She clearly doesn't want to wait that long. And I keep thinking ever since my friend mentioned it - "Guys age much better than girls do". Do you guys find that to be true?
I'm trying to decide and gather some solid wisdom here. I don't really have a problem getting girls, never had. But here I am, conflicted. I graduate this year, and I'm in the for the money. I want to earn big, get into politics, make a career worth talking about.
She brings stability to my life. But is that enough? I want to travel with my friends, which I don't think is as feasible for a married dude.
Can you love someone but also let them go?I really care about her, and go the mile for her, but I am also not head over heels for her, I've never been that dude. But does it really get much better?
