Yesterday, I left a party early because my LTR (of 6 months) killed my vibe. Upset about me looking at and talking to other women, she stood there angrily while I enjoyed myself and the music. When I had enough of it, she took me home and we talked on the way.

She was powerless in her empty threats. She said things like:

  • "I can't be in a relationship like this"
  • "You make me feel like shit when you talk to other girls"
  • "Something's gotta change"
  • "You just need to think when you're talking to them"

I responded with some cocky funny, AA, the usual, but this has been a reoccurring issue she brings up. She eventually got the point where she asked me to "Stop flirting with other girls". I get that her remarks are rooted in insecurity and competition anxiety, but how tf do I go about this? Is it worth maintaining a relationship where she overtly communicates low self esteem like this? Thank you for the read and any advice given.
