I'm 24- I'm self employed, making about 75k a year, and have a fiancee whos making about the same, same age. We have a house, no debt, and go on pretty frequent vacations/concerts etc. It seems like all of our friends, and generally most people in our age range, are behind us- they have entry level jobs, or hourly jobs that don't pay great, a lot of them live with their parents, they all complain about how hard it is for kids our age etc. instead of trying to improve their situations.

I have never used this against them. There are a lot of factors that led me to where I am, and things could have gone much differently. In general though, even though I get congratulated for buying the house, doing my own thing etc it seems like since ive been getting more successful these people want less to do with me. Is this normal?
