So... I'm (27) interested in my flatmate's(25) girlfriend's friend (both 22-23).
I don't really get along with my flatmate because they don't clean after themselves, etc. basically we ignore each other and don't talk or anything. His girlfriend doesn't live here, but she's over most days.
Now she has this friend who's ALWAYS attached to her, she's over pretty much every day too. She's an HB9, a model, but quite shy/awkward and totally lacks self-confidence.
Now, I think she likes me. She's always trying to make small talk. She's always coming up to me. I end up teasing her a little about something or other and she always responds fairly well.
But I can't find any opportunity to escalate (or even ask for her number) because someone is always around!
Last week she was drunk when I got home, she ran up to me telling me all about her new dress and asked me if I liked her shoes.
The flatmate's girlfriend follows her and tries to kill the conversation and steer her away from me. This isn't the first time this has happened.
They have a very high schooley-cliquey relationship dynamic.
Now what do I do? Should I just not try do anything with the girl because of the drama involved?
Should I escalate? How do I go about it when she's always attached to someone who doesn't like me?
It's really hard to get her number or anything with my flatmate/his girl are around, because it's just too awkward and bad vibes. I deleted facebook/insta as per TRP advice, so I can't add her there.
I'm moving at the end of Jan so I was planning on hitting her up just before I leave, but I guess if I don't escalate soon enough she will lose interest.
Give me TRP wisdom!
