Background: Growing up, I basically had no game. I was nerdy and painfully shy. This meant I was a kissless virgin at 21 (now am 22). I got an impressive job, and worked on myself and now I get a decent amount of female attention. I would say I am a soft 8. Right now I am spinning one plate, who is a 7 but is very sexually forward.

Now this is about a girl who I admittedly have some oneitis for. She is beautiful, intelligent and respects me a lot. We met when I was attending a meeting at her workplace and initially the amount of interest from her was intense. We went out on 4 dates but I could only escalate till hugs and arm touching since these were lunch dates (logistics issues - she lives far away but works close by)

About a week after we first met, she suddenly changed gears and started talking about how she was not ready for this as she was getting out of a long term relationship, and that we can be friends. I told her that I was not really looking for more friends right now and she said okay.

That should have been the end of it, but she called me a couple of days later and started talking. Now here is where I made the mistake of starting talking to her. It's been 3 weeks since, and we talk the entire day, everywhere. Video/Call/Text all of it. All conversation is initiated by her and I take my sweet time responding. But, she still does not respond well to my flirting and this is not moving in the direction that I want.

I see two options here: One, quietly cut my losses and move on. I am actually willing to do this as a last resort because this stringing along stuff really gets on my nerves. Two, confront her in some way to tell her to put out or get out. I dont think this is a good idea but I dont know.

Help me out here guys
