Backstory: In college I became very close to a female 'friend'. I was pretty beta. I had no confidence, had never been with a girl, had terrible acne. I just sucked all around romantically/sexually. Anyway she and I became very close, and after about a year I decided to tell her how I felt. Now I want to make it clear that she always treated me well. She did favors for me, never asked me to hold her purse, never talked to me about other guys. So there is no malace towards her on my part.

Anyway by the time I got the nerve to tell her how I felt, she had gotten back together with an old ex boyfriend. This literally happened the day before I told her, and I had no idea they were back together. She actually never told me how she felt about me, she just said she was back with him. Ultimately we become far more distant and eventually are not even friends at all.

Fast forward four years to today. I have come into my own so to speak. I have better complex, confidence, and experience. Everything in my world is going well until she runs into me on the street. She hasn't seen me in years and really wants to catch up. I figure out she is in a long term relationship and doing well. Against my better judgement we hangout a few times, and we both have a great time.

But now I am back into my one-itis mode. I can't make a move because I don't want to destroy her relationship. And she keeps asking me to hangout. I want to just walk away because I have other options, but this girl just has a hold on me.

How would a Redpiller go about solving this issue? Seeing other girls just isn't working. I still would rather be with her.
