I just wanted some input on an idea I've been having.

I'm new to TRP and am struggling to break out of my beta-ness (currently in LTR of almost 6 years). I've been looking things up on Stoicism in order to help me build and maintain frame in my relationship.

Some of the great Stoics journaled their thoughts and affirmations. There's also a Stoic practice of mentally recalling / journaling your day just before bed. The idea is to be brutally honest with yourself about where you slipped up - in order to know what to look out for and where to improve.

I've been thinking if something like this would work for keeping track of where I broke frame and where I need to improve?

Kind of just a tool while I'm still learning and absorbing everything about TRP to help me isolate my problem areas. Once I've eliminated them and basically built an unshakable frame, it could be used to just keep myself in check (stay sharp - never slack off, am I right?).

Without just straight up bashing the idea, I'd like to hear if this is viable (especially for someone like me who thrives on structure) and even some viable criticism of it.

I'll still do it anyway just to try, but I'd like to get some feedback on the concept.
