I was supposed to have a date with this girl this afternoon. Was a nice day so I thought we could grab a few drinks at a patio bar then do something later. We were supposed to meet up at 3 but she texted me saying that she couldn't get off work on time as she had a meeting and if we could push it back to 4. I say no biggie.

3 rolls around and she says the person she's supposed to meet is going to run late and she doesn't know what time she'll be free. At this point I'm not trying to make it seem like I'm just waiting round for her so I say that I have to meet someone at 6 (I didn't but she doesn't have to know that). She texts saying that she's sorry and that it's for work and she has to put that first.

I text her back saying not to sweat it and that there'll be other times. She says "there sure will" and I text her saying that now she has to be the one to set up the date. The thing is this is the second date I've tried to set up and nothing has happened. At this point I'm done trying - in fact I've already got a date with another girl set up. I just want to know if me telling her that she's gotta be the one to set up a date now was too far or if I'm reading too much into it.
