Been seeing girl for three weeks. Actually liked her and saw her as dating material. However, recently I was getting signals she wasn't interested in dating, even though we were sleeping together. Those include:

  1. She said one night when we were out that "we are like drinking buddies".
  2. One of my friends told me that she said to him that "you are very attractive". He implied there was more she said but I didn't get it out of him. This was when I was out with her and him.
  3. I have a friend who is an 'alpha' male. Really good job, good looking, great attitude etc. This girl has never met him but I told her about him. She said to me "I might come out Saturday if he comes out as well". After that, I saw that she was probably going to branch swing or maybe using me to get to my friends. If she doesn't want to come out with me alone, then it's obvious.

Because of all that I kept texting other women and keeping my options open while still sleeping with her. Yesterday, I was hanging out with her and she saw another girl sending me love hearts. She flipped out, and said you are cheating/don't want to talk anymore.

I said to her all the stuff I wrote above and said how can you say we were exclusive when you were doing that? She denied saying that to my friend etc etc.

Was I in the wrong here ethically?
