So I work a university within their financial affairs department and am starting a new role on campus soon. The team planned a going away thing for me today, and we just rounded up the luncheon. Anyways, an older lady in my team (let's call her E) and I get along well, always professional. Later on before she leaves for the day, she gives me a hug and rubs my back aggressively because my traps and lats are sick.

Next thing I know she grabs my cheeks and says "gotta kiss ya" and gives me a kiss before I can even react lmao. I didn't make anything of it and she is sweet, but my coworkers looked on a bit puzzled.

My question to you guys is though, if the roles were reversed, wouldn't I be in HR shortly thereafter getting ready to lose my job?
