You should not rely on her for help or support. If she provides it anyway, that's fine, but do not become dependent on it or begin to take it for granted.

But should you even tell her in the first place?

Let's assume you are passionate about your mission, and stick to it.

Telling her could increase your bond, increase trust and openness between you, and show her your strength of will where it matters most to you.

But maybe this will remove mystery long term -- "What is my man pursuing with so much zeal all these years?" vs "He's an open book I've already read. There's nothing exciting here anymore."
