It applies to life.

Don't let people use you. Don't go out of your way only to please people. Dont let your employer underpay you. Don't let your employer overwork you. Don't let anyone disrespect you.

Don't settle for pity sex. Don't be friendzoned. Don't hold some dude's beer while he makes out with your chick.

Don't let anyone invade your personal space and always be ready to defend it when your safety is threatened.

Don't pay for any of her shit. Don't let a girl unload her emotional shit onto you.

Don't let your lazy, undisciplined self rule your life.

The rule applies to men as well as women, but in terms of women don't be a fucking door mat. Don't dote on her or be Johnny-on-the-spot to satisfy all her desires. This is more important in an STR/LTR than on a first date because frankly you trying to impress her to get in her pants.

In several situations you just have to say "NO!"

"Hold my purse." NO!

"Drive me to [X, Y and Z]" NO!

"Buy me a drink." NO! (at least, not on a first meet up)
