In the greater context, the line is "Chase a check, never chase a bitch".

No one should really have to spell it out for you. But if you're dense, let's put it this way, It's always more beneficial to pursue money, than it is to pursue women. Doesn't even have to be money in particular, it could be anything beneficial to you, I.e. Your Mission.
