Very specifically, a "unicorn" is a woman who is not subject to hypergamous instincts. In particular, she will remain loyal and faithful even if your SMV drops sharply. These women do not exists. ALL woman lose attraction of they think they can do better. This is the core of "AWALT."

A lot of guys use "unicorn" incorrectly for "Marriage-quality woman," and there are a lot of those around.

As the name states, the perfect woman: not a feminist, follows the female-specific gender role of a mother and housekeeper, not a feminist, is warm-hearted, doesn't use sex as an extortion tool... there are others but these are a few of what I can think of.

It is the term we use in TRP to personify the "perfect woman". Whether this woman "Exists" depends on your interpretation, much like Santa Claus.

Is there a Fat Bearded man who makes toys in the north pole and delivers toys to every child on the planet once a year? No.

Is there naturally a perfect woman who is immune to the desires of hypergamy, completely submissive in all the right aspects, perfectly loyal, and intelligent/interesting enough to be your friend and lieutenant through everything in life? No

Take it to the extreme and it doesn't exist, but just like once upon a time there was a man named Nicholas that delivered toys to a small group of poverty stricken children on occasion.

There are women who actively try to be the embodiment of the fictitious unicorn, and are good LTR material. However there are more women who fake it to manipulate men.
