Read "The Rational Male". Start there, I would suggest taking mostly anything with less than 500 net upvotes in the parent sub with a huge grain of salt. I rarely go on TRP any more it's been filled with idiots that have no idea what they are doing and are soapboxing what they think TRP is to get internet points of other people who also don't know what they're doing.

The more experienced members have their flairs etc but since.... 6 months ago perhaps there has been a leaning towards commercializing, packaging and reselling of TRP advice in the shape of blogs, websites, articles, whatever by some in the 'community'. Just be sceptical, people are now selling you ideas... I would advise sort topics by top all time then go through them old to new. The meta in TRP changed a lot when it went post 10k users and went to dog shit despite the commendable efforts of the mods when it went past 70k.

To answer your question specifically, it just alludes to removing the wool over your eyes as to how modern gender dynamics works. Which mainstream culture pretty much has as men being retarded doormats who should be lucky to get a glance from a woman and women being an unknowable mystical divine species from Venus. TRP disabuses you of that modern position and helps you steer yourself for better personal outcomes, no matter what you choose to do.

It's basically an analysis of human behaviour. Ultimately advising men to stop pedastilizing woman and realize they aren't angels incapable of wrongdoing. There's also a tendency to focus on self improvement and setting goals for yourself that don't require a relationship to be happy.

What I get from TRP is being what you want to be. That doesn't mean anything specific just if you see something you want you shouldn't let anything stop you from getting it. If it's money, work harder. If it's a hot chick, lift weights and build stability. If it's a genie in a lamp then your in the wrong place beside TRP is nothing is given to you, you have to earn it.

All in all it helps you build a solid foundation through a mindset that "alphas" have and "betas" want. It shows how women think and how to understand this so you don't get screwed over as bad and you can use there way of thinking to your benefit. It teaches you through hardworking and sacrifices you can be anything you what to be if your willing to put in the time.

it's not one theory, there's some agreement and some disagreement and lots of micro-theories of what's going on.

It is not alpha vs beta. Each alpha and beta serve a role together. It's really lies/Matrix=blue pill, brainwashing, and red-pill=truth=refusing those lies of what we all are as humans, men and women, our roles at different ages in mating, dating, marrying, working, etc.

Is there anywhere TRP theory is discussed? I'm aware of the Purple Pill but there was rarely anything of value.

It's rare on TRP you will see someone offer an opposing view to a situation and it will be discussed.But surely the only way TRP can continue to become more refined and valuable is if theories and alternate ones are discussed and tried.
