your frame is your own frame, idk how else that's suppose to be answered. I'll give you an example of what I mean

Just the other day I was setting up my PC to a large tv so my friends and I could play Smash 4 on an emulator. As my computer turned on my VPN service also launched which was displayed on the tv. A tech savy friend said "Oh? You're using a VPN?" but he said it in a way that was implying I was doing shady stuff on my computer. Immediately I felt the urge to justify why I have it, because it's common sense, but I caught myself before I responded. Since if I had responded that way I would be falling into the frame that "I'm doing shady stuff so I have to explain myself" Instead I said "Ya, you don't?" flipping the script because I knew he understood that using a VPN is common sense. I created my own frame, that he was dumb for thinking it was weird I was using a VPN.
