So, this past weekend my LTR and I got in a bit of an argument, she was out drinking with friends and I was home because I had work over the weekend. Basically, I failed a shit test and she got butthurt over it.
She said that, “I can’t keep doing this thing where we are good for a couple of weeks and then one of us gets upset and shit hits the fan but then we apologize and say ‘I love you’ and act like nothing happened. I can’t keep doing it. It’s just a vicious cycle.”
That was Sunday night, and I haven’t gotten a text from her since, but she did snapchat me multiple times throughout the day. So, I’m just at a place where I don’t really know what to think and I don’t know what my next steps should be. Her birthday is this week, so should I text her and say, Happy Birthday, or anything or should I just leave her alone? Part of me honestly thinks, that she’ll come back to me in a couple of months. She’s always said that, “She loves me more than anyone she has ever loved before.”
In the meantime, though, I’m entering full monk mode. I’m doing a lot of reading, learning a new skill, and hitting the gym like a beast.
Is there anything else I can do to speed things up? Or should I just wait?
