Whenever I behave manipulative , distant and machiavellist world is really good to me. People like me, easy mode, happy and things are going pretty well overall.

But whenever I act caring ,good, sincere and try to help people around me. There is always a problem. They hate me and world becomes like hell.

What should I do I really wanna act sincere to people I love but whenever I do that they hate me. Should I decide to be machiavellist and distant all the time? Is world like this really? Should I be manipulatative even to the ones I love?
