I would've told her yes I was talking to another girl and it's none of her business and that she can't see my phone. If she leaves then plenty of fish in the sea, nothing of a value was lost.

Either lie. Or don’t. Whatever you do stick to it dude, dont apologize and if she wants to leave let her. It’s just an empty threat usually

Often posts here go into too much detail that doesn't really address the problem. Your post, on the other hand, doesn't give enough context for me to provide a comprehensive response.

The way I interpret it, she wanted to see the phone OR leave. And your frame broke, so she saw the phone AND left. It doesn't matter so much what you should have done (either tell the truth from the start or use this shit test as an opportunity to employ dread game) but what you do now.

My advice: don't fall for any more of her shit tests when she comes crawling back. Show her that you are the prize and that she is replaceable. Learn the lesson from your mistake or you'll be doomed to repeat it.
