The problem for the future job market is where the jobs are going to come from because we are pivoting toward robotics. That's fine in the longer term, because every economic pivot we have had -- Agrarian to Mechanical (railroads n'shit), Mechanical to Industrial/Manufacturing - IM to IT and now IT to Robotics has resulted in economic growth, BUT they were disruptive as FUCK while they were happening. And that's what we're headed for.
So what to do? Free fucking tuition, dude! Don't blow this! If you are interested in economics/money then do business/finance. I'd also look into double majoring in some sort of computer security thing even if it's the equivalent of a 2 year certificate at a community college because the future is computers even more so than when I was in school.
Also, play a sport, even a club sport, for fun. Look into joining a frat, but not if it will fuck up your grades. You know whether it will or not.
Learn an instrument. Take an hour a day and learn to play guitar or something. Throw away your xBox or whatever.
Learn a foreign language or two: Spanish, Portuguese or Russian, depending on what flavor of pussy you like.

Good shit, kiddo. I'm 35, lived in Cali myself, now in the east coast.
There's a lot of money to be made in the un-sexy, boring stuff, including the areas you mentioned. But don't focus yet. Paint in broad strokes for now.
Or, on the other hand, if you can get your ass into med school asap and become an MD in the first half of your twenties, then do it. But also don't let go of your interest in business, finance, etc. Actually, never let go of that. Go balls out and get your MBA after MD-ing it. You get the hint.
I say med school and not pharma school because 1) I presume there are a lot of doctors who do non-gore stuff and somehow they got thru med school, rotations, etc and 2) "I'm a doctor" is just 100x more badass than "I'm a pharmacist" or anything similar.
I have a friend who just became a nurse anesthetist. He could be making $200k in a few years. But still, he's just a glorified nurse. Not exactly a redpill job title when you're at a crowded dive bar.
Consider becoming a MD.

A good, masculine job title is the same for the post-college real world. My job title isn't sexy at all but I preface it would something fun and mysterious, which helps but not by much.
I'm not sure if you get drug tested for med school, but it sounds like you take edibles for a legit medical reason, so I wouldn't be too worried. Look into that as you're preparing to apply for college.
Also look into undergrad/medschool combo programs. I went to a univ with that, it looked pretty slick from the outside.
Meet and talk with people who are actually doing what you are interested in. I was curious about the FBI in my mid-20s, so my dad connected me with a FBI special agent and I spoke with him over the phone for almost an hour. Nothing short of awesome. And also I quickly concluded it was not for me.

Nowadays with these new healthcare laws and the amount of debt and years from medical school and residency, I wouldn't say becoming a MD is a smart move. Anything in programming/business/finace/real estate has great potential to have lucrative earnings.
