Went out to a BBQ with some pals (bare in mind, I’m 17 going on 18) and we were grilling. There were a decent amount of girls (mingled with all of them, wasn’t bothered) including my friend’s girl.

Now, when we were eating, my friend’s girl goes: “You guys are exactly alike.” To me and my friend. She explained that she means that we “speak alike” (idk, I guess she means our mannerisms).

The difference is that I weigh 40lbs more and I lift. He’s skinny.

I also frequently see her whispering to her friend and looking at me, and laughing. I’ve smiled back on several occasions. Am I watching hypergamy take place? How do I proceed?

She’s moving for college at the end of the summer. This dude has been dating her for a month and goes to her house every day to hang out and STILL hasn’t smashed that. Homie isn’t owning his shit.

Is this AWALT happening in front of my eyes? Hypergamy taking place? Thoughts? How do I proceed?
