Wassup guys

Here’s some context: I’m 20 years old and am in my 3rd year studying Mechanical Engineering. I haven’t asked girls out for a little over a year now due to being busy with school/ work and a general lack of interest.

Over the past 2 weeks or so I’ve started approaching and asking out girls at my school again after focusing on my studies religiously for the last few semesters. I figured my GPA is secure enough now that I can relax a little and actually enjoy college.

To my surprise, most of these girls shoot me down within a matter of seconds. Not in the usual indirect way we’ve all seen before though.

Im not exaggerating when I say this but these girls often go from civil to triggered-feminist-level pissed off in about 5 seconds of me starting a conversation with them and have straight up told me to fuck off as well as other things. My personal favorite is “Not interested, you ugly midget. now fuck off” (side note: the girl who told me that is about my height or maybe slightly shorter)

I guess I appreciate their straightforwardness, but this type of thing has happened enough times recently that I’m not so much pissed off anymore, but just wondering what the hell is going on here?

I’ve had fellow TRPers tell me I’m a 5.5 or a 6 maybe.

I know I’m short (5ft 3in) and not exactly Brad Pitt yet, but I’m not Peter Griffin either, and I DEFINITELY don’t consider myself ugly or repulsive enough to get THAT kind of response.

What’s your take? Are girl’s bitch-shields just way stronger than I realized? or is there something else going on here?

Or maybe this is the universe’s way of telling me to just focus on my studies?
