So there's this chick who's behavior i just can't seem to understand.

I know this girl from 5 years back when i was in high school. I was a total loser for the most past but for some reason she always seemed to stick around me. She looked good and she had much better options then me.

I honestly didn't really liked her that much and told her that i find her annoying. But over time, as only she was the only female around me at that time I grew fond of her.

I asked her out on date multiple times but she rejected me. Some time after that i changed my high school and cut all contact with her.

But now SHE still messages me once in a while. Wishes me birthday and all that shit. I almost never initiate convo with her. So i don't think she's in it for attention.

Some time back seeing this i genuinely thought she was interested in me. So i asked her out on date twice. Both times she gave shit excused and backed out.

So now kinda confused what's her deal? She doesn't seem to be in it for attention or is interested in me. What does she want from me? Am i overthinking all this ?
