I'm about to finish reading the rational male, this book being the most eye opening experience for me.

I'm wondering how to best implement this knowledge into my life. I've been in monk mode for a bit just working out and reading this stuff and now I'm ready to move on. I'm about to exit the military and move into a college environment where I don't want to repeat a past problem. My ability to attract women sucks, I'm not exactly that fun spontaneous obnoxious dude they seem to love. I'm just a smart, stoic dude with a tight social circle and a dislike for stupidity. I hear humor is key, but when I try to be funny or explain something that's funny to me it just doesn't click with anyone else. Another problem is it's hard for me to relate to other guys who have more interest in what's on t.v. or the current sports teams, leaving me with a very small circle of other guys like me. What's the best way for me to handle this part of my life?
