I think cultures have expirations points, but its more about the detachement of a ruling class from the people that put them in power in the first place. That delusion and detachment is much more of a cultural rot than hypergamy.

I think the game is just the turbo charge of individual masculinity when faced with a increasingly misandrist society. I think this is consequence of feminism, which is a consequence of existentialism and a increasingly more affluent society. I doubt this toxic combination ever generated a gender war as it has in recent history.

"Game" is definetily classic masculinity repackaged with a few minor tweaks to make it relevant to usage on modern women.

Everything game proponents are accused of "exploiting" to bed women are lizard-brain level things. They've been with our species since the beginning. It's actually just been over the last 40 years that we've forgotten about them.
