So usually I wouldn't bother if I don't get a reply, but this time's a bit different, still though I'm leaning to dropping it. I'll keep it short and vague for personal and doxxing reasons. This is in a smaller EU country, not the US.

I was out partying with friends and I saw a chick who I recognized, she's somewhat of a public figure (not some huuuge celebrity, but defo a public figure with fans), but we have some mutual friends (from growing up nearby). Disclaimer: she's not an instagram influencer or some shit.

Anyway, I went up and opened her, and we had a surprisingly good talk (I'm usually bored as shit inside when talking/gaming girls, but it was actually fun to talk to her) We talked for like an hour and a half, got drinks, smokes and shit meanwhile, and in the end added each other on facebook (which is the same as asking for her number in the US, unfortunately this is the norm here).

I texted her 3 days later, its been 2 days without a response, not even a seen. Normally if she were a "normal, regular" chick, I'd just drop it and move on, however since she's a public figure, Ican imagine she's just bombarded with messages and missed my message. I'm still a bit surprised given how great of a time/convo we had, and since she showed genuine interest (chad bro who saw it happen said the same). Anyway, I'm still leaning towards just dropping it and moving on, but I wanted to hear your guys' opinions. (on this situation specifically, but also on double texting in general, maybe I'm too harsh by moving on so quickly sometimes)

TL;DR: Opened on a chick at a party who's somewhat of a public figure (not an instagram thot btw), had a surprisingly great time hanging with her, added each other, texted her later, but no reply, 2 days later and hasn't even opened the message yet. Would usually just move on, but since she's a public figure I'm thinking about texting again, since she may have just missed it, but I doubt it.
