My uncles, who are living a shitty life, tries to be funny, by throwing words at me, not neceserly making fun, I can laugh with them, but since I dislike them and their shitty habbits.

I choose to stay silent/ignore/node like I am not listening. But after 5 minutes they throw another word. I ignore... w/e.

I feel if they reach a level where it would be disrespect, I should answer them back, and it's easy making fun of their life.

I don't remember when the last time I answered back, don't want to break frame, am always cool and am silent in family meetings when am really tired, "some people" will take it as a sign of weakness, but am no pushover.

When it's okay to defend my self and not taking any dis? Any examples or signs that the person is disrespecting you?
