Hi all,
I've read a good deal of the side-bar, read many posts over the time I've been here and taken relevant notes.
I've internalised a lot of useful information. I have a good mind-set now. However, my social skills remain lacking.
I'm a second year uni student. I have a couple mates but we don't really see each other outside of uni. I can't say I've 'hung out' with a mate in a good year.
Each week I attend a social meeting (a hobby), and I have a good couple friends there, but similarly, I don't see them outside of this space.
I believe that once I've met someone and got to know them a little, I'm capable of progressing the relationship, whether it's a friendship or a sexual pursuit. However, this is the issue; I can never seem to get to that point.
I'm terrible at approaching people. The friends that I do have aren't really real friends, moreso 'convenient' friends.
I feel like I'm trapped inside my own world. I haven't been to a party in a couple years and am still a virgin.
So what do I really want? I want to meet people, I want to go to social events, I want decent friends, and I also want to pick up birds. Once I have couple good friends, will I get invited to parties and such?
Another issue is that I don't know where to meet people. I know you're all thinking "YOU'RE AT UNI YOU IDIOT", but it doesn't seem that easy. I rock up, go to class, go home.
What can you guys advise? I feel like I'm missing out on so much at the moment. I'm almost 19 and I feel like I should be having a lot more fun than I am, and I don't want to get to 30, and think "shit, oh well, next time around, ay?"
PS: This is a throwaway account, due to wanting to keep personal information discreet. Been reading red-pill for a while now (18 months)
