Let's say a man was dating a woman he considered very attractive, but she starts becoming abusive.

Consider the same situation with reverse genders.

Who would have a harder time dumping the abusive partner?

Like women who can't let go of abusers they feel very attracted to, does the same happen to men who have the option to find someone less attractive but with a "better character" like women always have?

I think men tend to stay on abusive relationships only when they have a very strong scarcity mentality, like they can't(or think they can't) find anyone, at least not with extreme effort. Do you agree?
