Been boxing and kickboxing for a long time. Worth it 110% it will help with so many areas in your life. Most Important thing is ; don't skip training. There will be days with zero motivation. Go anyway. You will never regret it when the session is over. Make friends at the gym, they will keep you accountable

Understand that some gym suck but that doesn't mean boxing sucks you might just need to change gyms. Start sparring within 2 months. Nothing makes me wanna train hard and get back to the gym like having your ass handed to you sparing. Again, make sure your gym is legit and they dont have you guys knocking your skulls off.

Be careful of not going too hard initially. I sprained my shoulder and got tendinitis as I wanted to compete with the more experienced dudes in the first few classes itself.

Don’t do that, pace yourself into it. It’ll be the best thing you’ve done in your life

Is it boxing with other boxers or a bag with an instructor?

I do title boxing which was 45 minute workouts led by a trainer

It will take you a good month to get into a flow. Don’t give up, like a commenter said before, I’ve never regretted going.

Make sure you learn how to wrap your hands correctly and buy good gloves even if they are expensive they are worth it.
