If you're 'seeing chads' everywhere you look, maybe you need to reassess. You're not in high school any more. Now is what matters, not then.

Ditch the parenthetical aside, you wouldn't be saying 'I like you and care about you' if you hadn't gotten on already. Try to eliminate wishy-washy language like 'the thing is...' and 'I'd like to...' and try sticking to short declarative sentences. The first sentence is a fine example: straight and to the point, no mincing about. You're extending an offer, not trying to sell anything, remember that. It's hers to take or leave, but remember that you are the prize.

First you're comparing yourself to whatever idealized 'masculine' frame you've invented in your head, then which comedian's 'vibe' is closer to yours. What does an 'alpha masculine' man look like in your head? Sean Connery? Tom Hardy? Some other actor? Are you trying to compare your 'vibe' with that? Do you see a problem there? Stop living in your head. You're a man. You're already masculine. Do things, and be good at them. Telling jokes, fixing tools, clubbing baby seals, whatever. Competence…

Style is how you wear your clothes, not the clothes you wear. Doesn’t matter what you put on, if you’re a chump, you’re a chump. If you’re the best you, everything’s going to have style.

If you’re into office politics, I recommend ‘The Gervais Principle’: https://www.ribbonfarm.com/2009/10/07/the-gervais-principle-or-the-office-according-to-the-office/ It’s a good read! There’s also a book by the same author on the same subject, but the blog covers all of it.

I recommend reading Leangains by Martin Berkhan. Worked for me. And for gods sake, track your workouts. You want to track your strength gains and use progressive overload. Lift and eat to a purpose, not to ‘feel the burn’.

There’s new rules for the work-place, kid. Don’t trust anyone. Think of yourself as an independent contractor who can lose their job at any moment because of a whim. Now why introduce any extra variables (getting personal with people at work, for example)? Be guarded, as much as possible. Anything they know about you can be used against you. Be nice. Be polite. Be warm, but not inviting. Be nice and polite while being firm, and admit nothing. This goes for men, and 100x for women. They are poiso…

Women are people. I know that’s shocking to you. Like every other human, women have and exhibit a wide range of intelligence, sex drive, metabolisms, etc. You can’t reduce everything down to a constant and apply that constant to everyone. Now, if you want to find the peak of an individual woman’s sex drive, that’s something to which you can apply knowledge and strategy and experimentation. Rather than trying to discover a universal field theory of female sex drives, find you some females that yo…

If someone makes a witty comment, I usually laugh. Then make my own. If someone attacks me, I agree and amplify. I’m here for a good time, and if it’s at the expense of me, I’m ok with that.

It’s not wrong or beta to step into a situation and help a fellow human. The key ingredient you’re missing is the confidence that you can handle that sort of situation; start training a martial art so you don’t have to worry about getting ‘beaten up’. Bunch of fucking candy-ass bunnies in here, my Christ. MEN protect those weaker than themselves. MEN can handle themselves in a simple situation. Be a MAN.

I find the biggest effect on libido is fat intake; low fat for me equaled low libido. I follow Berkhan's Leangains protocol, which is IF (Intermittent Fasting) and calorie cycling (lower fat/higher carb on workout days, flip it for rest days) and it's been good to me. Deadlift days, if my intensity is good, I'm so horny the crack of dawn isn't safe. Just my experience, but give it a go for a few months and test it for yourself. No reason not to supplement with zinc/magnesium/potassium etc, and m…

Give it time. Pick your approach and stick to it for 3 months at least. This is a marathon, not a sprint. 6 weeks is nothing, and your lifts are beginner level at best. You can progress while on a deficit, suck it up and fucking lift. I'm skipping the 'what is your goal?' since you're here on asktrp; your goal is to get lean, strong, and look good. Right? You can do that on the path you're on if you stick with it.

Cooking and baking are life skills; I don't divide those by gender, only by what interests me or doesn't interest me. I myself don't eat banana bread or cake or any of that shit, but I will make them with my kids (boys and girls) when warranted. It's a teaching tool, same as when I had them help me build a patio. Also, I'm the only one in the house that can make a proper cheesecake, ain't nobody touching that but me. #cheesecakegainz

I have friends that went there back in the nineties. Not sure how 'good' the school is, I think most of them went on to be like pastors and shit. But probably pretty white - that being said, nothing wrong with asians and indians, get used to it. Maybe look at schools in Oregon, pretty much whiter that a paper plate in a snowstorm,if that's your thing.

I mean, if you have money to burn and are ultra committed, there are chin/jaw implants but that's pretty drastic. Short of that, it's a tough row to hoe. I still think you could visit a men's aesthetician and see what they can do for you. Go to a gay guy, get a consult, then a woman, and see who gives you better recommendations.

I wouldn't advise flipping it on them and commenting on anything about their appearance. The workplace is dangerous when dealing with women; keep in mind a third party may be walking by and report you for sexual harassment and you don't want to be having that conversation with HR. Play it safe brother.

I was exclusively strength training up until ~5 months ago, while aggressively cutting. Had been training that way for the previous year. After adding accessories, I didn't notice any mass gain until I started taking my eating as seriously as I take lifting (i.e. about 2 months in, but since I started eating big, the gainz have been very noticeable). Lesson for me was, if I'm going to spend 1.5-2 hours in the gym 5 days a week, I need to fuel up for that shit, and not be afraid of a little fat g…

I use progressive overloading. I'll start with a weight, and do 3x8. Once I can do that with perfect form but high intensity (meaning it's hard to actually do the set), I'll stay at that weight and do the next WO day same weight but 3x10. Continue until I am hitting 3x15, then up the weight by 5 pounds, and start over at 3x8. Intensity is the key, IMO. But I always do the main lifts first and give them everything I've got. I do accessory lifts when I'm still sweating and shaking and my heart's p…

Doubtful. Since this is all blue-skying, perhaps you should examine your (lack of)confidence and/or your PUA tricks are rote and lack believability. They can smell both from miles away. WRT to lifting, it's a huge concern confidence builder, so if confidence is indeed your problem, eat more and lift heavy.

They never cared about 'you'. The 'you' that you are, 3AM, staring in a mirror and wondering if you've gotten to where you need to be. They care about the way you made them feel in the moment - so be that guy, that makes them feel excited and alive and fun. You can do this by being the best version of yourself, because you're exciting and alive and fun. Women are like furniture; they look nice, accentuate the decor, but are always replaceable. The main benefit for me with SL5x5 was the app - it does your rest times, plate/weight calculations et al for you, so you can just follow the app and the program without bringing a notebook etc. Looks like SS has an app as well, but I have not tried it. SL is a fine beginner program, would recommend.

I started Wing Chun 5/6 years ago as a much fatter man than I am now. WC as a whole is not a fitness program. It is self-defense, plain and simple. Some students are fit, some are not, but in most schools emphasis is on form and proper WC, not on being in shape. If you want to get in shape and learn to fight, MT or BJJ or MMA are better bets. That being said, WC gives me a lot of confidence, and has taught me to how to defend myself in any given situation, which is also invaluable.

What was the inciting incident here? It's rare for people to just arbitrarily decide to dislike someone. I say find out what pisses him off about you and double down, throw some AM at him, and see if he cracks. If he's acting like a bitch, treat him like one. Worst case scenario he blows up and does something stupid, and leaves you looking like the cool morherfucker who saw it coming all the time.

In your head, the scenario is a) she wanted word to get back to you because she wanted to insult you or b) she wanted word to get back to you to get your attention because she wants more validation from you. Do you really care either way? Next time you see her, compliment her on her shoes and move along.

I, too, struggle with Resting Murder Face. Some girls dig it, most do not. What I'm saying is that based on their actions, you are likely giving off something they don't like. I get the same thing, even when I feel like I'm human-Ing really well, in retrospect I can see where people would think I'm just a dick. I dust off my poor fragile ego and try again the next time. Practice man, practice.

Women like validation. Men do too, but for women it is currency rather than a dividend. It's also possible that you're overthinking this or have confirmation bias - perhaps you notice her actions more during certain scenarios because you expect it to be so, when really she behaves his way all the time.

Watching Netflix is not a hobby. It's a pastime. IMO, hobbies are any activity in which you can improve performance, i.e. playing music, writing, cooking et al. Pastimes are just that; activities that you pass the time with. Nothing wrong with them in moderation, but I personally don't indulge, unless I can dovetail the pastime with a hobby.

Definitely second the StrongLifts program - so simple you can't fuck it up, the app makes it easy to track your progression, and eliminates a lot of the 'what weight do I start with?' questions. SS is pretty popular as well, but I started with SL and it did right by me. To make it easy, pick one of them and stick with it, eat toward your goals, and congrats on making a great decision to improve your life.

Cynicism is cancerous within a team; lead by example and be a positive influence. Ignore this guy and shut him down by outperforming him in work and social duties. In short, be better than him and be the alpha of the employee group.

Sure, you could next her - but what will you have learned? What will you have gained? I would use the opportunity to play with her and answer back. "You're the first girl who's ever given me the cold shoulder... do I make you nervous or something? :D" I mean, don't turn it into a timesuck or anything, but if you never play, you never practice.
