So I get invited to a dorm with 3 girls and we're talking and it's a pretty dead conversation. So one of them just goes around asking what math class we're taking first year. I'm a math major so I say I'm taking the highest level offered, whereas the other 2 girls say they're one level lower than that one(which is the standard class for people who aren't going for something super quantitative). Then my genius self decides to shit on people who are taking a class that is 2 levels lower than mine, thinking that we are all in the same boat. What I didn't realise is that the one girl who didn't say anything was in that class. I saw her expression change and realised what I've done and tried to salvage it by saying I guess if you aren't in a quantitative field then by all means go for the lower class, But I doubt that mattered. Why am I like this, why is it when I pushed my boundaries I fell harder than I would've fallen if I hadn't even stepped out? Any words of advice?
