Why do I care about honor?

You act like TRP is against honor or something? You can be TRP as fuck and still be an honest man. I don't manipulate, lie, step on people or anything. So why are you second guessing your honor?

Originally honor was a form of pride. It is basically a special form machismo. "I am so glorious and powerful, that I can afford to be fair with my equals, and I will keep my word against all odds."

To the ancients it was perfectly obvious that women and slaves have no honor, and shouldn't be expected to have any, and if they do have it, then they are very suspicious. Why is that girl full of such machismo? What the hell is wrong with her ovaries?

Slowly but surely, honor was mutated. By the time it reached you and I in its present form, it became a poisoned, blue pill concept based on moral fear. Instead of machismo, modern honor is about being afraid to be seen to be unfair/unjust, just like a woman is afraid of being seen as a slut. She can be a slut, just can't be seen as one. Same with modern so-called honor, a guy will bend over backwards to be seen as all-fair and all-wonderful, then when no one is looking he's a little conniving bitch trying to get his best advantage. This modern so-called honor ends up being more effeminate and slavish than not having any honor at all.

The bottom line is that if you can't afford it then you really have no business being honorable. If it does not stem out of pride and the tense exchanges ruled by mutually assured destruction between equals, then it's not honor to begin with, it's moral fear - basic cowardice & wanting to be a good boy masquerading as something strong, masculine. I hope you enjoy this overview of another one of our topsy-turvey inverted concepts, and give it some thought of your own. As a practical tip to really feel your way through this, you can deliberately arrange some situations that put you on the spot and where you're seen as being dishonorable. Calmly observe your own feelings and the inner panic, let it wash over you. That will instantly teach you more than reading ever can about what is real and what is blue pill bullshit.
