“Because I wanna be as happy and successful as I can be.” Is that a good reply do you think?

I didn’t have a good(read carefree and fun) childhood and wanna make my adult life as good as possible. I get asked sometimes why I work hard.

What are things that you guys usually reply? Because there’s people out there that use working hard as an insult too.
