Don’t shit where you eat. Don’t fuck coworkers. Don’t talk about weed with coworkers unless you know for sure they do it too, and DEFINITELY DON’T BE THE ONE TO BRING IT UP. Professionally, so so dumb. Personally, just screaming “please think I’m cool”.

I’ve smoked plenty of weed. Smoking weed isn’t a personality trait.

You’re problem isn’t not having something to talk about. Its being a dip shit who can’t separate work from personal life.

Do more interesting things in your life and let people do most of the talking anyway. With that said you should be figuring out how to beat those other 40 people at whatever you're doing and be the best one.

You seem to struggle with relating with people. Good conversations are based around experiences, what you learned or felt around those experiences, stories, likes/dislikes and why etc. essentially who you are and who they are. I get that you’re young and still developing this but I’m sure you have a bit of ammo.

“I grew up in a rich part of town. Everyone thinks rich people have it easy but my family was just so disconnected from each other it was ridiculous. We could never talk honestly with one another. Except for my younger brother, we we’re really close. Still are actually, me and him want to start our own dildo company one day when he finishes college”.

They then say “at least you had a brother, I grew up an only child and the closest thing I had to a brother was my dog Charlie. He was a borderdoodle and the best dog ever. I was so sad the day he died”

Everyone is human buddy, and everyone has something interesting or in common. It’s your job to find it. Building relationships is all about sharing yourself and getting them to share themselves.
