Age and demographics. If you're younger, live in Asia, etc., women are generally less attracted to beards or facial hair. I can tell you that most American women in their late 20's or 30's seems to prefer men with a short and trimmed beard. Can't stress SHORT and trimmed enough. Don't go out there lookin like Gandalf and expect to get any, lol.

Just do whatever you think looks good on your dude. Don't grow a beard for chicks. I got a beard that is a Number 5 in length and I just like the look of it. I don't think i'll ever get rid of it.
