if you meet resistance at any stage of escalation (taking clothes off especially). you pull back immediately!!! 100% pull back. if you had been touching her or kissing her just before getting a "no" or a "not sure" you dont go back to the kissing or touching. you need to pull back and say something like "oh no worries, Im on my period anyway ;)", you can even start putting your clothes back on and hand hers to put back on. after you get the rejection you also immediately change the topic to something totally non-sexual and start talking as normal. act as if nothing happened. if she tries to say "well we can still make out" just say "it's okay I totally understand, we shouldn't".
