I am kind of new to seduction, meaning that I never actually read about it. However, I've been reading Seddit and some ebooks lately – and found that I haven't been acting in the right way. I've broken many rules of seduction in the past (mostly while in a relationship), but I'm willing to learn and upgrade my knowledge.

While I agree with everything that I've read, I am still having trouble accepting some concepts because of my personality. Some concepts of seduction and treating a girlfriend are simply not acceptable to my way of being, and I can't figure out why. That's why I'd like to hear your opinion on this. Please shed me some light on this subject.

Here are a few examples where I'm really unsure of how to act:

  1. The „rules“ say that I shouldn't put a girl up on a pedestal, meaning that I shouldn't buy her gifts often, that I shouldn't treat her like a princess and do everything for her, that I shouldn't be always there for her when she needs to talk, if she says kiss me, you don't but you do it later, etc. However, I'm the kind of person who likes giving gifts to everyone, not just my girlfriend. I just like surprising people and giving them gifts and stuff. While I agree that my girlfriend might get used to all this and that I can become boring to her (because she knows I'll get anything for her and do anything for her), I am wondering whether I should change my personality in order to be „good“ with girls? Shouldn't I simply find a girl who isn't like the majority of them and who appreciates the way I am right now? Isn't that the real solution?

  2. When my girlfriend goes on a trip and returns, I simply can't wait to get all over her to cuddle, kiss, have sex and everything else. I just miss her so much and love her so much that I really have a need to be all over her when I don't see her for a week. However, rules say that I shouldn't do that. I should act kind of cold and let her come to me. However, what if she isn't the type who comes to me? What if she doesn't really like to cuddle? So she doesn't have to do it often like I do? Then I simply lose by playing it cold, while on the inside I want to touch her and have sex with her. She would probably come to me and have sex with me later, but why should I wait, when I can take action and satisfy my needs (I am talking about emotional needs to feel her close to me, not just sexual)?

  3. I don't want to be a player. I don't want to act like David DeAngelo suggests, because most men act like that. I want to be different. I want to be the way I am and I want to find a woman who appreciates that. Is that a valid opinion? Or it's just flawed and I should change it?

  4. If I meet a girl and I treat her like I normally treat a girl I like (like a princess), and she becomes uninterested and whatnot, that is a sign that she just isn't for me anyway since she doesn't appreciate my way of being. She obviously needs someone who knows the game. However, I could play the game, but I wouldn't be myself. How to act here?

Thanks a lot for your opinions!
