This is just a little technique I've been using recently, so I guess there's a little field testing with it.

PREFACE

I often frequent a lot of after hours night clubs (this is just where I thought up the technique, it's for anytime use). When I go there, I meet a lot of great people, and because of the general atmosphere, friendships are easily made. Usually these connections are fantastic, often I'll go to the other persons house, go for rides, get food, etc.

So of course there's always the "What's your number, let's exchange info etc" talk. Well we always give each other our numbers but because of the rush of the moment or whatever, we usually just dial each others digits, hit send, cancel right away and say "we'll remember to save it to ourselves". A contact is never saved, or the person is kinda forgotten the next morning.

So a simple way to combat this was sending an initial text, right then and there. The results were great, not only do you totally remember the person, but that text message (grouping) is there the next time we open the text message app, every time we get a text. So the "good memory" is fresh in the mind every time we open their text app.

So I thought of how I could use that in terms of our arts. TO my delight, results are also pretty beneficial. When exchanging numbers with a girl, I will try to make sure I do it as early as I can. I don't think ending an encounter with a phone exchange is good.

SO what I would do, is one of either ways. Simply tell the girl, text me your name right now when you're "giving her your number". Tell her to literally open a text, give the number then say "text me your name"

Sometimes this is cool, cuz you'll find a girl that actually does cool things, so you can gage attraction. I've had a girl text me her name with a smiley, some with cute girl from Paddy's, some will just literally text like "Jen". It's just interesting food for thought.

To me, I always liked girls that gave texts with the "Jess, cutie from Playmakers" or along the lines, so I tried kinda "enforcing" that type of emotion back. Which is option 2

Rather than telling the girl to text you, you ask her number and text her right away. But now you get to throw the whole playful stuff around. So she would give me her number, and I would reply stuff like Portuguese Prince, or your new boyfriend, or your new favorite person.

I think this is great too because you can kinda gage the personality with her response, and if she plays a long it'll be a "good memory", which all returns to her every time she opens up her text app. She'll see that "good memory".

I think this might be a new way to the text game. What is actually said might be useless, just making sure it leaves a good vibe of you, so every time she opens that app she's reminded of you.

So that's about it, just a little technique that I thought I'd share.
