Hey y'all! The following will probably be pretty controversial. I've seen this exact technique both advocated and despised, at the end of the day, it helped me, but it isn't for everybody!

I see loads of posts telling you to simply not give a fuck. Go and open that girl, who cares if you get rejected? Get out of your head! Do it now!

Thing is, we are social creatures, and for me, there was no simple OFF switch I could just hit and stop caring. Rejection hurts the ego, that's a fact.

Instead of a magic bullet OFF switch, I achieved far less rejection anxiety the same way as anyone ever gets good at anything. I practiced. It was slow and long and arduous, but you can get there.

Here's what I did. It's all about your mindset. Here's a scenario;

You are at a club with your mates feeling good, a tasty HB8 is stood alone, she is gorgeous, she looks friendly, she even gives you a glance!

But, you don't approach. How could you? There are a group of loud guys near her, they are bound to see and laugh if you get rejected. What if she keeps glancing at you just to check if you've stopped looking at her yet? You don't wanna be a creep...better not risk it. Go to the bar and get a drink, and tell your mates she just wasn't your type, and sit at a table with on a downer all night.

Does this situation sound familiar? I know it's happened to me countless times. I read about a little 'game' and decided to try it out. No doubt some of you have heard about this controversial topic before, but here goes!

THE GAME

The rules are, you go out with the guys. You all have to approach women. The first guy to get REJECTED 10 times gets all his drinks bought for him by the losers for the rest of the night. The aim of the game is to STRIKE OUT.

All of a sudden, talking to that HB is SO easy! She's bound to shoot me down! What an easy target! I'm gonna get free drinks for sure!

Those loud guys near her will still see you strike out. They will still laugh at you, they don't know you were TRYING to fail.

Except, something is different. This time, you really don't care, in your mind you succeeded! You had a goal and you achieved it. Your reward cycle kicks in, your brain rewards you with dopamine, your confidence grows! You start acting like a bigger dick, the next girl you see you go and tell her that her tits are amazing. You get a slap across the face, you eagerly look around the room, 'holy shit I hope my mates saw that!!!! I'm gonna get those drinks!!!'

You are conditioning yourself to accept rejection, without damaging your ego. It's like riding a bike with the safety wheels on. After a night of this, when you REALLY try to pull, you've already been shot down so many times before you will wonder why you were ever scared of it.

You expose youreself to it enough for it to become little more than a minor setback, but you don't get the mind shattering confidence killing feelings of failure!

Every rejection is a lesson, it's just a step closer towards success. even of you come out of this with absolutely no improvements on your AA, at the very least you will learn a little lesson in social interaction. You'll start being able to predict more accurately which girls will laugh at you, which ones will take serious offence, which ones will try to bail quickly and which ones that would rather stand their ground and take you on!

This truly was my first step on the path of not giving a fuck.

Let me know your thoughts!
