Hey guys! Long time reader, I like the community although I think some of it could use a perspective shift. Let me start with the fact that I'm a very confident person and have no problem talking to girls day/night and generally being the life of the party.

This brings us to my problem. I like to dance. I have no clue how good I am (I'm not bad) but mostly I do it because I love the music and I love the atmosphere. The issue I keep running into is that I don't know how to keep a girl dancing with me for an extended (not like crazy long but a couple songs) period of time without escalating.

Call me old fashion, call me stupid, whatever. My goal isn't always to pick up a girl (I'm pretty picky) and usually isn't to pick up a girl right then, but I do like dancing with them. That being said, short of pulling her close or very obvious physical escalation I end up just drifting away (yes I drift from them actually) I guess I'm just missing some sort of longer term dance move. I mostly try and find electronic music but I'll one-two to whatever I"m around (last week was Motown).

So any suggestions would be welcome, ask me any questions if you need clarity. I'm not explaining myself very well but it seems like sorta a strange problem. Anyways, thanks for the advice!
