I'm easily one of the most introverted people I know. Spent two years out of college not meeting anyone, and actually ended up going to therapy for a year or so to get to the place where I could write this.
So hopefully you believe me when I say...
Look. It's really not you. There's so much life out there to live. And there really are people that will give you the time of day. They won't mind when you don't say anything back in the conversation. They'll be patient with you.
Really. It was extremely hard for me to break the ice. A hand shake with some, a name exchange. Nothing really prepared, no strategy. No natural game. Just being... me. The me that it took a year to be comfortable with.
Nothing remarkable. I met a girl, many girls really, we hit it off. Eventually a move was made. No PUA nonsense. Just being a person able to captivate another. Able to draw them in. And it was great. An excellent way to start a new year.
If you're still with me -- thanks for reading. Thanks for bearing witness to my joy and comfort in my own being. I hope that you can achieve the same or more likely, greater. Appreciation for yourself and the world around you.
Thanks, seddit, you helped me appreciate what I am, and through that have confidence to embody what I stand for. Have a great 2016.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
